The pain you already know

Credential tracking goes fine — until the surveyor walks in.

The 60-day scramble

Joint Commission is in 60 days and your credential spreadsheet is three versions out of date.

The silent expiration

Someone's BLS expired last Tuesday and nobody noticed until today.

The PDF re-upload loop

You've asked every RT to re-email their current license. Again.

Built for both sides of the department

A wallet for therapists, a dashboard for the team.

Both sides work from the same records. Therapists get a vault that travels with them; departments get an overview and a survey-ready export.

For therapists

Credential wallet

Free
  • State license, NBRC, BLS / ACLS / PALS / NRP, and fit tests, all in one vault
  • Snap a photo or drop a PDF. Find it again in two taps.
  • Email + SMS reminders at 90, 60, 30, and 7 days
  • CEU tracker against your state's rules, by category
  • Public profile to share when you apply for a new job
  • Portable across employers — your record goes with you

For departments

Compliance dashboard

Starting at $6 / seat
  • The four numbers that matter: compliant, expiring 30d, expiring 60d, lapsed
  • Credential matrix — every therapist × every credential, color-coded
  • Bulk reminders + manager escalation when a therapist ignores theirs
  • Joint Commission-ready PDF, exported in one click
  • Annual competency workflow: assign → complete → sign-off → archive
  • Manager and assistant-manager roles, full audit log

Founding departments save 50%. Backed by a 60-day money-back guarantee.

Live in five minutes

Drop your existing spreadsheet in. We map the columns. No retyping 30 records.

Audit log built in

Who changed what, when. Every action timestamped. Holds up under JC review.

Your data stays yours

Department isolation enforced at the database, not the app. Other departments physically can't see your records.

How the reminders work

The reminders are the product.

Spreadsheets don't text anyone. RTCred sends an email at 90 days, an SMS at 7, and escalates to the manager when nothing has been done.

90d
First nudge

Friendly heads-up. Plenty of time to schedule the renewal class.

60d
Second look

Reminder with one-tap document upload from the email.

30d
Act now

Email and SMS. The therapist can confirm renewal in one tap.

7d
Final + escalation

If nothing has happened by now, the manager gets a heads-up — before the credential actually lapses.

This is the part a spreadsheet can't do.

When a therapist ignores their reminders, the manager hears about it before Joint Commission does, without anyone having to make a phone call at 10pm.

Quiet hours respected. No 3am texts.

Just renewed? We stop nudging.

Per-credential cadence — BLS reminders ≠ license reminders.

RRT-ACCS · BSRT · MSDS · Former RT manager

I ran a 30-therapist department at a Level 1 trauma center through COVID. We had a credential-tracking module in our education platform, and a spreadsheet running alongside it. We thought we were covered.

And then one day I found out one of my therapists had worked shifts on a lapsed license, because nothing had alerted any of us in time. They had to come off the schedule until every CEU and every form was resubmitted. None of it should have happened.

RTCred is the tool I should have had. The therapist owns the record, because they earned the credential. The reminders escalate to the manager only when they need to, and not before. The export is Joint Commission-ready the moment the surveyor walks in.

Common questions

The things people ask first.

Is it free for therapists?
Yes. Departments pay for the team dashboard, and that's how we get hired: therapists bring us in, and the manager signs up the team.
When does it launch?
The therapist app comes first, around mid-2026, with the department dashboard about six weeks later. You'll hear from us when there's something worth using.
If I change jobs, do my credentials come with me?
Always. The therapist owns the record, not the department. When you leave, your manager loses access. Every license, BLS card, and CEU certificate stays in your vault.
Will RTCred work in my state?
Yes. RTCred works nationwide for license tracking, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC credentials, fit tests, and competencies, plus automatic CEU rule tracking that knows what each state requires, like the hours and any ethics or patient-safety categories due each renewal. We work hard to ensure accuracy for every state.
Is this HIPAA compliant?
We never touch patient data. RTCred holds staff data only (licenses, certifications, competencies), so HIPAA doesn't apply the way it would for an EMR. We encrypt data at rest and in transit, log every manager action, and have SOC 2 Type 1 on our roadmap for hospitals that ask.
How is this different from what we already use?
Most departments use a spreadsheet, a credentialing module bolted onto their HR system, or a generic compliance tracker. The first doesn't text anyone when something's about to expire. The second is buried under five clicks and was designed for the HR team, not the RT manager. The third doesn't know what NBRC, NPS, or RRT mean. We're building the version that does.
What if it's not the right fit for my department?
60-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. We'd rather refund you than have you stuck with a tool that doesn't work for your team.
